La Trattoria

I recently dined at La Trattoria in Winchester, KY, and had an outstanding experience. The spaghetti was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying breadsticks were warm and flavorful. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff provided attentive service. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking authentic Italian cuisine.

I had the Sunday Sauce which is a huge bowl of Spaghetti and meatballs and Italian sausage. It was without a doubt the best sauce I have ever put in my mouth and I used to be married to an Italian. This little gem is situated in charming downtown Winchester, KY. The bourbon list is small but thorough. I had some Buffalo Trace with my meal. It's only 5 minutes off the highway and well worth the stop. Great service and reasonable prices. Lovely atmosphere. Don't miss this gem!!

Lauren was absolutely amazing. She was very personable, very knowledgeable about the menu, and very patient. The food was delicious. She was very kind and thoughtful and helped us have an incredible time celebrating our mom and aunts birthday.

Great Italian spot in beautiful downtown Winchester! The server was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. I was slightly disappointed in the shrimp scampi, but it was still good. Their house salad was delightful. We enjoyed the ambiance and seating by the windows! Also, make sure to look in the men’s restroom

Food is unbelievable and probably the best Rack of Lamb Ive ever had.

Everything about this place was excellent, we had the Italian meat pizza and mozzarella sticks and it was very good. We will be back to try other foods. We look forward to sharing La Trattoria with our out of state family. 7/22/23 update I got the chicken fettuccine alfredo for the third time and I am convinced they have the best of anywhere I have ever been. Update 11/4/23 still the best chicken fettuccine alfredo around. Update 1/6/24 still the best chicken fettuccine, service is also amazing. Honestly I can't find fault.

The restaurant is truly a hidden gem!! We came in from Morehead just to travel around Winchester and see what we find and stumbled into the warmest coziest yummiest restaurant!! My friend and I are big bruschetta girls, so when we saw it on the menu, we had to try it! Google Review reader, when I tell you this was life changing bruschetta, I am not lying. This bruschetta was fresh (and always homemade we were told by our lovely server), this bruschetta was sweet from the balsamic reduction and tangy from the onions. It was perfect. I will dream about this bruschetta. We also got a Margherita pizza, which was of course so yummy, but that’s now what this post is about. Please get this bruschetta, you will thank me. Also the service was so quick and our server was so nice and played into our questions about this magical bruschetta :)

Friends suggested this restaurant and we met them there. Very surprised at how good it was. Wine was excellent and I had pasta with Gorgonzola sauce with blackened chicken and bacon it was awesome. Had buffalo wings and bruschetta that were the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Would highly recommend this jewel.
